"Elegy" a movie

Elegy is defined as a mournful poem; a lament for the dead. Elegy is also the word that gives name to this movie about a fifty plus year old professor who falls for a Cuban student that's in one of his literature classes. The man tells his friend "we are at complete different times"; yet, he goes on pouring wine into glasses, talking about art and eventually, making love to her. So many novels and movies share this trama, that the film is definitely not unique, but nevertheless a reflection of what happens in life.
“You are such a cinic” she said.
“I’m such a realist” he answered.
