Barack and Michelle's love has women sighing... Just ask and you'll see.

"I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the last sixteen years, the rock of our family and the love of my life, our nation's next First Lady, Michelle Obama. Sasha and Malia, I love you both so much, and you have earned the new puppy that's coming with us to the White House. And while she's no longer with us, I know my grandmother is watching, along with the family that made me who I am. I miss them tonight, and know that my debt to them is beyond measure."

These were Obama's words on inauguration night, standing before more than 70,000 followers in Grand Park, Chicago. There's no doubt that this was my favorite part of his speech. It created an instant image in my mind, the way good writing should do. The vision of a small puppy running around the White House and serving as a companion for his young girls adapting who now have to get accustomed to their new home. It was a heartwarming image. As if that wasn't enough, the listener and viewer is also reminded that his grandmother is missing one of Obama's happiest days; otherwise, she would have been one of the proudest and happiest people in Obama's audience. All the words were beautiful, but his for Michelle were imprinted in my mind, like I'm sure was the case for many women that heard them. I was talking to a friend who lives in another city and she brought up into our conversation Obama's sweet words for his wife, when we were both talking about our respective boyfriends.

It must be an overwhelmingly wonderful feeling for your partner to call you "the love of my life" in front of thousands of people, on the day he is becoming the United States' first African American president, we both concluded. That's why the press can't help but love Obama. He even feeds the media good bites reminiscent of Hollywood love stories.

I'm sure when they got married they had no idea they were going to live in the White House. And that's just one of the most amazing and wonderful things about this grand country!

The couple on the bus while on campaign. It must have been tiring and difficult times to relax and be intimate with each other.

Now, let's be honest, haven't we, women, maybe even men, wonder what did he see in this woman? Lots of us sure don't consider her beautiful, or half as charismatic as he, but Obama seems to think she's the sexiest woman in the world. Perhaps, he is not as superficial as the rest of humanity is. On a different note, they seem to have something real. It's great to watch them together and definitely very refreshing, especially when it comes from a politician. Actually, I've never seen a politician as affectionate with his family in public as Barack Obama. Which woman doesn't like that? I do like it.
